The Backpacks 4 Kids (B4K) Program is coordinated by the Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center on behalf of Durham County Department of Social Services.

B4K is designed to serve low-income students in Grades K-12 who need assistance to be adequately prepared for the new school year when typical back-to-school expenses are beyond the reach of their families.

We also provide supplies to teachers who work at Title I Schools within Durham County.
