Community Programs Manager

Position Summary:

Help manage and coordinate key program areas for TNVLC, including student and volunteer programs. This position will also assist with community outreach activities, fundraising, and coordinating nonprofit trainings. This can be structured as full or part time. FT: $32K-$40K/PT:($18-$22 per hour)

Nurse Home Visitor

Center for Child & Family Health

Position Summary:

A Family Connects Durham home visiting nurse provides home visiting to all families who desire a visit in Durham County. The goal is to support and assess family needs in 12 domains of physical and psychosocial well-being and facilitate referrals and connections to community agencies to support families in these areas. The home visiting nurse will work in a team environment of clinical and non-clinical staff to schedule, visit, and support families in the community using the evidenced-based Family Connects home visiting protocol.

Starting salary range at 80% FTE ($43,200-47,200) or 100% FTE ($54,000-$59,000) commensurate with qualifications and experience

Housing Navigator

Families Together

Position Summary:

The Housing Navigator is a critical part of the Families Together Housing and Family Services Team responsible for helping families experiencing homelessness obtain housing.   The Housing Navigator will work closely with Housing and Family Services Director and Mentor Advocates in identifying appropriate housing opportunities for families enrolled in the program as part of their overall progress toward stability and independence. Additionally, the position is responsible for coordinating data collection and entry processes, data quality management, data reporting, and data analysis for the agency. The ideal candidate is organized, strategic, detail oriented, energetic, self-motivated, flexible and able to balance multiple assignments. 

As an integral part of the Housing Navigator’s responsibilities, relationships with landlords will be developed and maintained to grow the network of landlords that partner with FT and provide housing opportunities to low-income/high barrier families.   

Starting salary range $45,000-$47,000.

Development and Operations Assistant

Dementia Alliance of NC

Position Summary:

Dementia Alliance of NC is hiring a full-time Development and Operations Assistant. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, with strong interpersonal skills, and a problem solving mindset.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position requiring that the individual be available to work during DA-NC’s regular business hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday based out of our office in Raleigh, NC. Some infrequent evenings and weekends will be required.

Salary range starting at $40,000 with benefits.

Director of Elementary and Middle School Readiness

Position Summary:

The Director of Elementary and Middle School Readiness provides direct leadership of the Emily K Center’s Pioneer Scholars program and related programming initiatives. The role requires effective leadership of a core staff team consisting of a full-time program coordinator, three part-time  program assistants, sixteen part-time certified teachers and twenty or more college and community volunteers. Strong  program planning, monitoring and administration skills and the ability to successfully engage community volunteers and partners are central to effective service delivery, as is oversight of the development and implementation of  high-quality curriculum and instruction.

Salary range: Mid to upper $60K.

National Books Administration Manager

Position Summary:

The National Books Administration Manager will support the re-design and implementation of Reach Out and Read’s overall books model and processes, focused on equity, quality, and sustainability. You will tackle several key pieces of work as a pro-active, solutions-focused, and well-organized leader with experience in designing and implementing effective administrative processes, gathering and analyzing large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel, collaborating and communicating with key stakeholders, managing book donation processes, providing key support to a books-focused committee, and helping to incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion into books work.

Salary range: $70,000-$75,000

Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Durham Public Schools Foundation is looking for an Operations Manager! Our ideal candidate loves systems and processes, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and is excited to join a dynamic team working in service of public schools.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience in nonprofit ops, and 2 years of experience managing operations. This person will work across finance, HR, and overall organizational operations. We are a primarily remote team, but the person in this role will need to regularly access our office in Durham, NC.

Position Summary:

This Tuesday through Saturday position manages all aspects of our volunteer program through coordination of short- and long-range planning, playing a key role in synchronizing construction, homeowner services, and development to meet the needs of all stakeholders. Site visits support recruitment, stewardship, acknowledgment, and management of volunteers to maximize positive experiences and convert volunteers to donors.
