The LINKS Program provides services to youth in foster care ages 13 to 18 and to youth who are voluntarily in care between the ages of 18 to 21 (thru a CARS agreement), as well as to young adults who aged out of foster care at age 18. Services can be provided until the age of 21. The goal of Links is to help these youth and young adults’ transition to Independence and have successful outcomes in education, housing, health and overall well-being.

Similar to the Big Sib Program, LINKS is also a mentor program for at-risk children in the foster system. These children are matched with positive role models who spend several hours a week with them for at least one year. LINKS is a system of support for these youth and provides opportunities for personal growth, cultural and social awareness, academic improvement, and educational attainment through the use of nurturing one-on-one relationships.
